The first week at Mobility First at York College was a very interesting day. I learned more about the Internet that I never knew before, for example, I learned that in 1969 UCLA tired logging in to their first handwritten log it crashes the SRI, which is the Stanford Research Institute, but on their second attempt they had a successful log-in. I also learned way more about the past, present, and the future of the internet. From looking at a picture of the internet it kind of looks like the neural passageways of the brain, with the center being the most dense. Later on when the android app building class started there were problems installing the programs to actually start building apps was a very long and boring task but after the installation process was finished and I actually started to produce the “Hello, World” program its wasn’t that different from coding in c++ at all. I really can’t wait for the rest of the workshop and learn more and more about the internet and what we can do with it and also creating android apps.
